HISTORY:

Many of you are accustomed to seeing neighborhoods networked with connected paths, trails, and sidewalks. But in 1994, in the Suwanee area, well, even the Gwinnett County area, there weren't many neighborhoods like MorningView. It was way ahead of its time.

Wade Johnson & Associates, the developer, wanted to create an environment of sub-neighborhood identities, with an overall theme and image to create continuity. Hence, MorningView.

Building started around 1994 and continued until about 2001. Each new sub neighborhood was created with different price points and features. The superb landscaping throughout the community brings it all together.

TODAY:

There are sidewalks throughout the development, a beautiful park, community lake, natural wetlands and very active homeowner’s association. You’ll love the resort like amenities that include tennis courts, sand volleyball court, clubhouse, exercise center, pickleball court, playground, park and several pools that feature a waterslide, splash pad and mushrooms.

There are eight different sub-neighborhoods-Havenwood, Summergreen, Clairidge, Olde Branch, Glen Devon, Fallbrooke, Windgrove and Westbrooke. Some of the well known builders were Ryland, Peachtree Residential, O’Dwyer, and Waterford, as well as, some custom builders.
